Long time luker on CC, going to jump right in here…would appreciate if someone could chance me. Sorry this is so long…
Applying for the June 1st deadline under GVPT, wondering if it might be best for me to wait until the Spring to apply for the priority deadline and nail down some GE’s that won’t transfer. I’m a 2nd-year and currently have 72 units at a Cal State, but 18 of them are from AP/CLEP (of which UMD will only recognize 6), and 5 units are from an internship. Additionally, 15 in progress units, 3 poli sci major courses and another GE. Also, most of my classes are 4/5 units because my university is weird, so I’ve only taken 16 graded courses. My ENGL 101 course I took my first year doesn’t equate to UMD’s ENGL 101 for some reason according to their database. How screwed am I? I’ve completed Calculus with a C, and will have my GVPT gateway req and skills req finished if accepted. Also, what are the odds of me getting some sort of Fall 2018 housing on campus by applying this late?
