I’m a junior from Georgia and am wondering if I could get in to USC and hopefully get some scholarship money. I do dual enrollment this year and will do it again next year so my gpa this year right now is a 4.4. Freshman year it was a 4.1 and sophomore year it was a 4.0. My composite ACT score is a 33. Will I be able to get accepted with a decent amount of scholarship money from USC? (I have lots of extra curriculars too like cheerleading, diving, BETA club, NHS, DECA, etc.)
Always have a back up plan, USC is very competitive and holistic which means no one can give you a solid idea of your chances, but this thread has lots of great info.
From an article on admissions at USC:
Forget the myth that admission is all about the numbers. Says Timothy Brunold ’92, USC’s dean of admission: “This year, we turned away 3,000 people with 99th percentile test scores. We just don’t have enough room.”

It can be assumed those 3,000 had great essays and ECs as well, it’s just so tough these days, so hope for being admitted and maybe even some scholarship money, but be realistic by having other schools you love. Good luck!
