Chances of Northeastern?

<p>I'm a Junior in high school and really like the looks of Northeastern but I'm not sure if I can get in. I think that I can but my mom doesn't. Here are my stats.</p>

<p>Female
State: Indiana
GPA- 4.3 weighted 3.93 unweighted
Honors-7 honors classes
AP-6 so far, likely 4 more next year (As in all of them)
IB-3 IB classes
PSAT - 198 Freshmen year. Not sure Sophomore year and haven't taken Junior Year
SAT-Taking in Spring but am doing a lot of practice and feel from those tests I will do somewhere around 2000.
ACT- 33
Extra Curricular- Key Club (community service club) 3 years, House of Representative 3 years, Cabinet 1 year, President of Homework Helpers (Tutors elementary students for free), President and VP 2 years of 4-H, Rec league soccer, and a job for 1 year.</p>

<p>I really like Northeastern and I think I will apply early decision. Does it seem like my stats are good to get in?</p>

<p>What? You definitely can… have you seen the admission statistics at Northeastern? Your ACT puts you at or above the 75th percentile.</p>

<p>You’re lucky you’re a junior, next year will be the first year they’ll have early decision.</p>

<p>In short, yes! You are absolutely on course to get into Northeastern. Since you are still a junior, you are very much ahead of the curve. Take a deep breath and relax. If you applied right now, you would most likely get into NU. Also, if you have time, I’d love a chance back, thanks and take care!</p>

<p>Your mom’s probably confusing northeastern with northwestern which is much more competitive. If you keep your grades up tho I think you can aim higher as you LL probably get into NE regular decision</p>
