In any case, not more than 20 students apply from Pak
^^ Not sure where you are getting your information that not more than 20 people apply from Pakistan “in any case”. The link I provided shows that about 170 students apply each year from Pakistan to Dartmouth and Dartmouth is not even as popular a school for internationals to apply to such as Harvard or MIT. In any case, best of luck with everything.
thanks
You are severely misunderstanding your odds (for instance, 13 undergraduates are from Pakistan at Harvard: it means, on average, 3-5 Pakistani are admitted every year. You can expect that several hundreds apply.) A random international applicant that’s “Harvard level” will have about 1-3% odds at HYPSM. Unfortunately, you don’t have an SAT or ACT score yet and you don’t have national prizes, so that handicaps you so your odds are even lower.

Can you articulate, in 6 to 10 lines, why you’re interested in a particular school?
(Keep in mind that a Columbia rep once said that the easiest way to cut someone is if their main reasons to attend Columbia are “Ivy League” + “NYC”…)
