Chances of transferring to Columbia

Hi mates:

I am an International Transfer Applicant to Columbia and I would like you to chance me. I am currently studying Mechanical Engineering but I would like to major in Physics in the US.

COLLEGE: Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America.

GPA: 3.85 unweighted
Ranked 3 out of 3521 students in my school, General Studies of Science. (I belong to the higher 0.11%)
Ranked 38 out of 39604 students in my school since 1969, the year when it was founded.

HIGH SCHOOL: COLEGIO ALGARROBOS

GPA: 3.84 unweighted
Ranked second in my class

EXAMINATION SCORES

SAT Reasoning Test: 730 Maths, 540 Writing, 480 Critical Reading (Since I am applying for Sophomore year, I hope this does not count that much)

SAT Subjects Test: Math 2: 800, Math 1: 770 Physics: 680

Toefl score: 107 iBT

ESSAYS: Very good, almost excellent I would say and according to my educational counselor. Anyway, consider I am a prospective physicist and not a prospective writer.

Do you need financial aid? Also if you’re applying for the sophomore, which means that you’re currently a freshmen, then your SAT’s will still matter a lot.

Yes, I do need some financial aid and I know Columbia does not offer need-blind acceptance for international transfers.
As for the SAT, I was hoping they would not matter that much.
So…in conclusion, what are my chances? (In your opinion)

Honestly? Very low. Columbia only accepted 5% of transfer applicants last year so it is very low for everyone.
