I want to transfer to Rutgers NB. My grades from last semester haven't come in yet..but it says that i have a 3.7 GPA. I've taken 18 credits this semester and I have about 4 credits from my summers classes. So, I have about 22 credits that I've taken.

One thing I'm confused about its that I got a D in one of my classes and a C in the other. Why is my GPA so high?

I applied to Rutgers my senior year of high school and I didn't get in to any of the 3 schools. My SAT score was horrible (1300) and I had a bad GPA (3.0) So, I understand why.
But what about now?

Also, I'm currently a dance major so about 15 of the credits I've taken this semester were dance classes, but now I just want to be a dance minor. Will these credits still transfer over? Rutgers has Dance in their curriculum. I looked up their classes and Montclair and Rutgers have basically all the same classes that I've taken this semester so it should transfer over right?

Do I need to audition again for the Mason Gross School of the Arts even if I just want to be a minor in dance? (Next semester I want to be an undeclared major so I can actually venture out more and have more time to take different classes to figure out what I want.) Do I audition before I apply? How does this work?

Do you think i'll be accepted into Rutgers even with a D on my transcript? :/ I've taken many credits... and my GPA is way higher than it has been in High school.
