Chances on Kelley Petition

I was wondering how likely it is for me to get direct admission for the Kelley School of Business at IU.

My ACT is a 32, while my GPA is currently at a 3.61. However, this GPA will likely increase to a 3.67 or 3.69 when this semester's grades are completed (side note: my GPA has never decresed from semester to semester in high school, it's always gone up or stayed the same.. if that matters). Reading comprable posts, I know that there's a fairly good chance, but is it almost a guarantee?

First of all, I think it’s nearly definite. But I don’t know any statistics in particular.

I had a friend last year who had to petition who was in the opposite situation to yours, he had the GPA, but his SAT was 20 points under the maximum. If it counts, his course work wasn’t particularly rigorous. He petitioned, and he is now there studying marketing I believe.

While it’s only anecdotal, with your GPA so very close to the cutoff, and your exceptional ACT score, I think you will definitely be admitted.

I have very high hopes that you will get in after your petition.

From experience, I resubmitted my SAT after winter and received Direct Admit to the program after doing so. My first SAT did not meet requirements, but the second did. I did not have to petition, but doing so will probably show the staff that you are interested in the program.

I think we need to report Missartisticc here, that is uncalled for. I did not get that and i’m currently in Kelley Studying Finance and Accounting.

Good Luck!

Low match.

Accepted into Kelley. Thanks guys.
