Would AA help or count or do anything for me? would I need it?

I'd really appreciate some opinions! Thanks!

I will only say - I don't exactly know to what extent the URM can pull your application up. Otherwise, excluding that factor, I would say (slightly) below an average applicant. (not trying to be mean)

If you weren't an URM I'd say that you're not getting in. But since you are, I'd say you have a pretty fair shot.

what's your gpa without freshman year?

bump bump bump

bump bump bump

Your GPA is a little low, but URM or not, I would say you would have had been in the mix.

truth be told, I'm not really interested in AA, b/c its not going to help immigrants as I've heard. A lot of HS is about showing proper hustle, and making it your job to do what must be done to get the A's. I wouldn't want to game the system, but I'm just curious about what its supposed to do. I know I haven't got a 4.0 UW GPA or 2400 SATs, nor am I banking on race to get me in anywhere....I just know that its supposed to be a factor.
