dont get me wrong, it looks really impressive.</p>

<p>use the film experiences to ur advantage. that will def. catch admissions eyes because not many high school students work for film industry. i know 2 of my friends got into their respective colleges due to their TV shows and movie appearances.</p>

<p>tm2000-My dad is in the film industry, and I have been working with him for the last 10 years, on all sorts of different movies/TV shows.
The congessional award is an award that requires 200+ hours community service, 100+ physical fitness, 100+ hours personal development(JOB) and a 4ight camping trip, completed over a minimum of 1 year</p>

<p>Yea, I founded a JSA chapter too.. That was incredibly easy. It's like click, call, you're President!
But the thing is, JSA is really popular in California, and just about every school has one.. and a lot of kids have film experience..so, you have some competition.
It's good that you live in California though, because it's harder in the East coast</p>
