I am planning to apply to Upenn, Northwestern, Duke, JHU, WU, Case Western, UMich, Brown, and Carnegie Mellon.

Eh, get that SAT/ACT score up!!!!

Don't apply for ED btw, only more competition for me :)

Reach imo

azngod...i don't really thing srg cares whether or not you are applying there

in my opinion you seem to suffer from a similar situation as me...a difficult course load affects your gpa (not saying a 3.7 is bad at all). As far as your test scores go...only retake the act if you feel like you can pull it up because the higher that is...the more it will help your gpa
EC's are good as well and i thing (and hope) that colleges truly do see the courses that you are taking and realize that it is okay that your gpa has suffered...because at least you're pushing yourself

hopefully they will welcome you in the fall of 09!

I was merely kidding (as indicated by the :))

you really moved aroud... rutgers, columbia, jhu?
wow, im envious
u have a good chance, as u have really good ec's

Thanks all. I am planning to apply to SEAS

IMO, in, as long as you work hard and stay ambitious

your ECs are okay... not too good. It's the research (which should be EC but u didnt state it as that) is what gives you the edge. Good luck. I think you have a good chance ED, fair chance RD

Guys....she's asian. Plus, all that awesome research? I'd say you're in (if you're a rising senior, try to really pull up that GPA for the mid-year report, but I think your ACT score is fine)

50-50 ED. I have a 2250, 8002C, 800 Chem and I'm still doubting my chances at SEAS, because of my crappy EC comparted to people on here.
