i guess finaid makes a difference but id say youre in. although aren't canadian citizens (and so im assuming permanent citizens?) evaluated ont he same basis as us citizens? ie need blind?

i will be applying for financial aid..and permanent residents are evaluated as US citizens (need-blind) i think...however for financial aid i become international...in any case, i think for admissions its need blind...fingers crossed!

cutxpaste - doe was so much fun! at least the expeditions...the other sections, not so much...

its not... I went to the ivy presentation at our area and asked about that question. the reply I got was they are only need blind to canadian citizen, US PR and citizens. so financial is going to put you n the international pool.

I really don't get these chances thread. And you have 700++ SAT scores, you self-consciously know you have a chance. Aside from that, college admissions is luck of the draw, a lottery if you will. There is nothing that can predict if you can get in or if you won't, especially kids your age who are on this site. I mean we want to know ourselves, so I don't see the point of these chances thread. Its just an ego-boost. You know you have a good chance, these threads only depress the **** out of people.
