<p>Overall, I think Vassar is going to be a reach for you. That being said, I don't think it's an impossible one... you certainly have a decent shot at getting in. </p>

<p>The primary reason I feel that Vassar is a reach for you is because of the numerical part of your application. Your GPA, SAT, and ACT, while all very solid, put you in the bottom 25% of those who are usually accepted to Vassar. This doesn't kill your chances, but it hurts them a bit. </p>

<p>What makes me think you've got a decent shot is the more subjective half of your application. Community service seems to be one of the "big things" that colleges are looking for these days, and it sounds like you're been pretty dedicated to this. In addition, your musical involvements also sound like they're pretty extensive... are you sending in a music supplement? If not, I would at least suggest that you send in a small sample recording as a part of the YourSpace section of the Vassar College Supplement. </p>
