chances plz plz

<p>I know u guys get this daily but i am dying to know what are my chance because Dartmouth is my #1 school</p>

<p>Dominican/ Latino Boy, Catholic
GPA:3.7, Ranking 6 out of 73 ( i go to a private catholic boys highschool on the upper west side of Manhattan)
SAT: 1690 SAT2: Spanish-700 and US History-650
Classes: AP English(4), AP Spanish(4), AP US history(3) the rest of my classes are honor classes, I am in NHS and receive advance regents diploma.</p>

<p>My parents never attended college</p>

<p>EC:I have been on 2 foriegn exchange program: Japan and Hungary, President of my school, Captain of Volleyball team and Mock trail team, On the Soccer team, Math Team, Chess Team, Science Club, Marist Youth, Student Council,</p>

<p>Volunteer work: Clean churches, teach catechism classes, habitat for humanity, Build a school in Brooklyn and I taught classes there over the summer for work </p>

<p>I take college class at BMCC and i am going to have more than 12 credicts before entering college.</p>

Mid Year Grades- 98-1st mp, 94-2nd mp, and 89 for midterms

<p>I think 1690 SAT would make it nearly impossible for you to get in... the first in your family going to college and URM should help a bit tho.</p>

<p>First gen. and URM will help but your SAT is low for Ivy standards. Good Luck.</p>

<p>How did you manage to do so poorly on the SATs? The score really doesn't match up with your GPA or your rank at all.</p>

<p>I took the SAT once. But I got a 27 on my ACT, which i guess it a bit better. And in school I am a really hard worker, when I am not doing something around school, I keep myself in the school library, studying. </p>

<p>And I hate taking a test for more than 3 hrs.</p>

<p>Yea, if you don't get in blame those test scores. If you had say, 2100, then you would have an awesome chance though as a first-gen URM.</p>
