Julia, I think you have a good shot at Wellesley. Your academics are in line, and your ECs make you a unique applicant! I'm just a parent, so my opinion might not mean much, but I have a feeling Wellesley does care about the diversity of their student body, and someone with your background has much more to offer towards that than a bland applicant with a perfect SAT score. You mention that you get test anxiety (me too: I just pulled out my old grad school transcript which had my GRE scores - oh my!). You might want to include a short explanatory paragraph in the Common App additional information section. Just do not make it sound like a whiny excuse; put a positive spin on it if you can. Have you had your interview yet? I strongly suggest doing one! My D felt her interview was a big help.
(Say "Hi" to the horses at Little Bit :))

thanks. I have not had an interview yet, but I plan on having one. I put my resume in the additional paragraph because I felt that most of the schools I was applying would look past the scores and to the whole person. I am glad I am not the only one who does not do perfect on every test.
