<p>I am a Junior in high school and I am looking into going into the medical field. I live in the Chicagoland area and plan to stay in the midwest. I was looking more specifically at the BS/MD programs at UIC and Northwestern. Also looking at Biomedical/Bioenineering at any schools, with a ultimate goal of going to medical graduate school. Some prospective colleges, (open to suggestions) are University of Illinois in Urbana (UIUC), University of Illinois in Chicago (UIC), Northwestern University, Washington university in St Louis.</p>
<p>I just wanted any suggestion about undergraduate programs, direct programs, colleges, anything! Also what my chances are in getting into the more difficult programs?</p>
<p>I currently have a 4.3 GPA.</p>
