Chances schmances?

I go to an excellent NYC high school, with somewhere around a 3.5 GPA (that's a little bit of a guesstimate, as my school doesn't really do GPAs. whatever. anyway). I did alright on the New SAT, 2190. I got a 225 on the PSAT, 4s on the Spanish and US History APs, and a 730, 750, and 800 respectively on Spanish, History, and Writing Sat IIs. My grades in math are slightly subpar, B-minusy with one C. Extracurriculars are no issue, I interned at a Senator's office, write for the school paper, etc. Anyway...how much do you think my C in math will hurt in the long run? I also have a 650 on the math part of my SAT, despite compensating with other high scores.
Schools on my list include: McGill, Swarthmore, Middlebury, American, UVM, probably some SUNY, Dartmouth (not interested but mom is making me).

Any recs for safer choices? Also, do you think any of those are a remote possibility??
Muchas gracias

If you were a Canadian you would most likely get in McGill. It is not that tough to get into. As an American, I still lean on the admitted side. Swarthmore, Middlebury are reaches but you have decent shots assuming your essays and recommendations come through. So is Dartmouth, but tell your mom to back off if you are not interested in applying.

I do not know about any of the other schools.
