<p>ACTIVITIES - I am extremely involved in German, and I plan to major in Germanic Languages and Literature. I lived in Germany for four years, and every summer during high school I've gone to Germany to take classes for four weeks at Goethe-Institutes and this past summer the German Language School of Berlin. One summer I also attended a month-long session at Concordia Language Villages (Waldsee). I go to German School for three hours every week, I'm in the school German Club, blahblahblah. Other activities include Private flute, piccolo, and voice lessons, marching band, pit orchestra, community choirs, New Jersey Youth Chorus, and Jazz Chorus.</p>

<p>WORK EXPERIENCE - I privately tutored a German girl in English for a year.</p>

<p>AWARDS/HONORS - National Honor Society, German National Honor Society, German Poetry Recitation awards, Sprachdiplom I and II German fluency certification, Commended National Merit Scholar, 97th percentile or higher on levels 2, 3, and 4 of the AATG National German Exams (2005 and 2006 third and second in the state, respectively)</p>
