Chances with (Low?) ACT composite but High math score for engineering schools

<p>Hey so I got a ACT Composite of 33 which I believe is kinda low for Schools like Georgia Tech, UVA, purdue, and a few others engineering programs. Here are my Subscores:</p>

<p>Math 35
English 35
Reading 29
Science 31 </p>

<p>I am applying to very competive engineering programs. </p>

<p>My question is whether they will ONLY look at the composite or will they also see the high math score. Thanks!!</p>

<p>Schools will look at the composite and the scores for each section as they show up on the score report. I believe 33 is good for Georgia Tech and UVA, but more information about your application is necessary (GPA, course load, ECs etc).</p>
