SAT II: 690 (Lit), 680 (Math 1)
Other Stats: Transferred from a school in India after 10th grade to a school in New England</p>
<p>SUBJECTIVE:
Common Application Essays: Very strong (about defining identity after moving many times)
Vassar Essay: Strong, a little over the word limit
EC's:
Intern and Tour Guide at local art museum (a selective internship)
Costumes Crew Chief for the drama club
Community service through a religious organization, worked with Habitat for Humanity
Social Justice Youth Volunteer
Dedicated artist (submitted a supplemental portfolio)
Performed in several plays with a prestigious theater group while living in India
Teacher Rec's: Probably good (I waived my right to see them). Both teachers liked me, and I performed well in their classes

I didn't take many difficult classes when I first came to school in MA, and struggled with math and French. My counselor and English teacher wrote about how I overcame this, and improved throughout the year in their recs.

Very strong grades from school in India (GPA: 3.97 out of 4 W)
Lower GPA from junior year, all As and Bs in honors/AP classes senior year.
I also had an alumni interview, which in my opinion, went rather well.</p>
