Senior year-
Same as last year, im out to defend my titles.

Also- last summer i worked at a hedge fund in Greenwich, CT. Awesome experience

Considering my EC’s primarily have to do with business, would it seem odd to the College if i apply there? It’s just that Wharton is sooooo hard to get into (not that the college isnt, but you know what i mean) that i dont want to risk losing all my chances at penn by applying to Wharton. I really would love a degree from the college (interested in the pol science, economics, philosophy major, but my preference would be Wharton).Thanks.

Great scores, wow @ that trend in grades, your GPA isn't bad to begin with anyway. You've got a great shot, but Penn's an ivy league and it's been getting tougher to get into every year so you never know.. I DEFINITELY would try for Wharton though--for one, admissions officers might think you're trying to backdoor into Wharton, and also, you'd have a good shot at Wharton so you should try it if that's where you want to be!

ya, everything looks good

awesome, thanks a lot

depends on how your school weights. at my school, that weighted GPA would be only decent.
My school adds 10% to all honors and AP classes. If your school does something similar then that is definitely the weakest point of your application. It will put you in the lower end of that category.

Make sure the rest of your application is solid and cross your fingers.

mine isnt quite as much. AP's get 8%, honors get 5%- still quite a bit.

yeah you have some sick ECs for business so id definitely say apply wharton since you have a lot of experience and some interns.

thanks for all the input. Another thing I should probably mention- im an indian male applying from NJ- does that change things? I moved to the country in 1997, and although Hindi was my first language, I can no longer speak it- but I can understand it (soon after being born in India, I moved to Thailand and then came to US- but i went to international schools so I learned a lot of English).

bump, bump, bump...
