<p>I have a 2.9 gpa (UW)
got a 1250 on my first SATS, taking them again in november
did my cheerleading JV team freshmen year and sophomore year
assist coach my jr high school cheerleading team for football season during junior year
went to LIM college in NYC for fashion marketing communications this past summer for a week, got a college credit out of it
senior year so far, i'm part of year book and student council
also my overall grade for first qtr will be over a 90, i guarrantee
i have a job as a hostess at a restaurant
major is mass communications/media studies (i want to work in the entertainment industry, work with concerts, celebs, events, interviews, or mags of some sort)
I'm getting 2 recommendation letters from my english and business teacher
also my guidance counselor is writing one for me too</p>

<p>also i don't want to go to my community school at all.</p>

<p>please give in any advice for my chances to be higher
also recommend any colleges in NY, Rhode Island, CT, NJ, Maryland, Mass, etc?</p>

<p>also i'm hispanic but i look 100% white haha and still looking for volunteer work!</p>

<p>Stroudsburg I don’t see you having a problem at all getting in there. I have a 2.08 gpa (horrible I know) but I’ve talked to a few people that go there and they said mine should be fine to get in there. I applied yesterday. Anyway, you have a lot of extra curricular activities, I have none. If you apply in time I think you could definitely get in.</p>
