I took online UC AP classes, because they were not available at my school.

Nope. No chance.

HECKY naw!

weak ECs !!!!!

yeah, i didnt think i had a chance

Okay, so I'm showing how goofy and uncool I am for not playing along with this, but evan93023, you're kidding, right?

yeah same...otherwise i seriously doubt my own chances.

lehabanahannah, either the whole thing is a spoof, or evan93023 didn't know cc'ers can be hard on anybody who posts glowing stats for feedback. The assumption seems to be that people who post great stats are just bragging. I'd don't think that's what's usually behind such postings, but it's easy to see why some people would react to them with suspicion.

why would I post fake stats?? How would that help my chances at all?? That makes no sense at all! Whos being hard on me?

why would you assume my stats are fake?

yeah, im not braging or anything, im just doing something people do on CC.
nan-Im posting chances threads. They have an entire section called, What are my chances? for people to d extactly what i'm doing now!!

Hey, evan, don't be so insecure and defensive now. Posting your stat was ok, but the fact you didn't think you had a chance with your good stats annoyed people. It's kinda fishy when someone with great EC's have no self-esteem. Most of the people who are on this board now are ED applicants, so you won't really get good feedbacks on your chances anyway..

Evan, I wasn't accusing you of faking your stats, and I wouldn't have said anything if it weren't for the possibility that somebody, especially you, might look at those replies and think they really didn't stand a chance.

Folks often complain vehemently when strong stats are posted, so I was allowing for the unlikely possibility that a few bored people sitting around might decide to spoof the whole process. Although you might have all the confidence in the world, please understand that your seeming lack thereof was far enough out of whack with your accomplishments to leave us wondering.

So, are we square now? It looks to me like any school would be lucky to have you. You stand an excellent chance of being admitted to NU or any other school you apply to. However, chance is always the operative word when applying to selective schools. Thus, your essays and recs will carry a lot of weight. If you haven't done it yet, it's definitely time to park your doubts and put your energy into sending out some spectacular applications.

Which school at NU are you considering applying to?

Wow I'm impressed. How do you find the time to do all of that? I'm in awe of people like you. Are you happy doing all of that? I don't think I'd be happy--too much stress, I'm one of those people who needs their down time everyday. Anyways, kudos. :)
