<p>Hi I am a white female out of state wanting to apply to H&SS.
Im going into my senior year and I want to major in philosophy.
Im in the top 11% (class size:667)
I have a 4.2 gpa on a 4.5 scale. But an sat score of 1980 (29 act).
I am President of the Debate team (gotten several awards i.e. 1st place in Lincoln Douglas)
I founded and am President of the Philosophy club.
I ran cross country for 3 years(qualified for districts)
I did choir,private voice lessons, and piano for 6 years.
I go on mission trips to work at VBS sites in poor areas every summer.
I painted houses with habitat for humanity
I make sandwiches for the Austin street shelter every few weeks
I have an internship in the Philosophy department of a nearby college
I am a part time nanny for 2 kids during the school year
Im also working on getting a job in retail
I visit with the women at a nearby nursing home every week
I am in National Honor Society
I am in Mu Alpha Theta ( tutored kids in preparation for standardized testing)</p>
