I'm currently a sophmore in high school
i have a 4.2 gpa, but looking for a 4.3-4.5 gpa in the near future.(currently top 9% of class)
I've taken the sat a couple of times and now consistently get 1700(awful)
the first practice ACT ive taken out of a practice book, i got a 32.
My schedule consists of all honors classes, and an AP class, and then Tennis
I play JV tennis which is nothing special
Im in NHS (National Honor Society)
Neither of my parents have gotten a degree in this country
I'm honestly worried for my future as many have said this is a very weak resume(i agree)
1. What should i do to improve my stats?
2. What are my chances of getting scholarship/full ride?
3. What should i do to get a full ride?
4.What colleges might be interested in me, or what schools should i look into?
5. I'm thinking about entering the medical field(medical/pharmacy school) What are my chances of that?
I'm open to your opinions, thanks in advance

You seem to be more suited for the act, so I would recommend to keep practicing the act and stop worrying about the sat. A 32 is very good as a sophomore!

Colleges grants scholarships based on amazing EC’s insanely high grades and scores sports volunteer work. Depends what colleges u apply to but all colleges do need based. Financial aid services

If u got ur gpa up to a 4.5-4.8 over all and got a 35-36 and did a lot of very significant ECs. My advice is go apply for an internship at a university studying biology. For example my friend did that and went to intel’s nationals. He only got a 2200 but he got into Yale and got full rides at many other places. Internships are really important.

So here’s what you need to do

Internship doing research over summer
4.5+ soph-junior gpa
35 act

If you do all that you can get pretty decent scholarships. Good luck to you Man.

Where would you want to go?
