Chances?

Okay so I’ve read hundreds of things about admissions from other people so I’m just going to ask about my current situation as i’m a senior this year

GPA unweighted:2.93 (I go to a college prep school with a more difficult grade scale too so it’s actually about a 3.1 at a normal school i’m thinking) I haven’t taken any AP courses although I am taking an honors course and a dual credit course this year so then I’ll have a weighted GPA.I also have my excuses in my essay and they’re kind of deep so i’m not going to put them on here but I do talk in detail to the admissions office in them.My GPA has improved a ton from my sophomore year as well so my commitment and improvements there.

SAT:920,I know this is very bad but it was my first time and I went in totally blind and unprepared without a calculator, breakfast and about 4 hours of sleep I’m taking it again next weekend I’ve been studying a lot this past month and my goal and prediction is to get a 1200-1300 on it.

I’ve gotten very good letters of recommendations from my counselor,2 of my teachers and my God father who teaches business at LSU

I’m going to be the first in my immediate family to graduate from a four year university and I’ve mentioned this in my essay as well

I have a ton of extra curricular things I’ve done as well,I’ll put stars by the bigger ones I’ve put on my resume and in my applications
*Basketball-4 years(team captain 2,all sectional as well.)

*Soccer-2 years
Cross country-1 year
Track-1 year

My top 2 colleges colleges I’m applying to:
Indiana University-Kelly or SPEA (Most likely SPEA)I’m also considering going exploratory I don’t know if this would be easier or not though
Purdue University-Krannert or the college of health and sciences.I’m considering going exploratory here as well

Also applying to Cincinnati and Ball State

Just really looking for some tips and advice on what to do and my chances with and improved SAT score that I believe I’ll get because I’ve heard it’s super easy to get in but then I’ve heard of people with a 3.5 and 1300 not getting in.I really want to get into either Indiana or Purdue as the other two are just safety schools I know I’ll get into with a slightly better SAT.Any advice on if I should go Exploratory as well because I don’t want it to hurt my chances at getting in and if I didn’t get accepted into these schools will they move me to exploratory and not deny me completely?
