chances???

Hi! I applied in-state ED I because of my huge adoration of William and Mary but have many influences to my application, esp. GPA. Could someone chance me?

GPA: 3.777
SAT: prefer not to share
Full IB Diploma Candidate
Completed an interview
High B+ low A- student

Extra Curriculars:
Academic Team Secretary
Muslim Student Association
National Honors Society
President of Key Club
Global Health Advocates
Volunteer at museum
environmental club
created donation drive
figure skate
piano
varsity soccer

4 letters of recommendation

Special Circumstances:
Auto-Immune disease caused hospitalization leading to GPA drop and influences test taking due to stress worsening illness
Lived overseas in a place with no weighting system, only A, B’s and no B+ or B-
Broke my leg which led to missing two months of school and led to a bad grade also affecting my GPA
transfer of schools was hard
very difficult family situation

Not the most ideal situations but tried to overcome it and did explain in college apps. Thanks!

Without your SAT score it’s hard to say so here’s a nice chart:
Being in state with some solid extracurriculars and hopefully good essays about your situation will help.
1500-1600 good chance of being admitted
1400-1500 fair chance of being admitted
1300-1400 some chance of being admitted
1200-1300 lower chance of being admitted
1100-1200 very low chance of being admitted
1100 or lower wasted application feee

Your class ranking will also come into play. Your gpa is low for William and Mary but if you are in the top 10% of your class that is what they will look for. If your SAT is lower than 1500 I’d say don’t put money on getting in. Theirs still a high chance 1400-1500 range

You have good extracurriculars and I think the Full IB diploma Canidate will help but your stats are a bit low.

But what do I know! I’m in the same boat as you! Best of luck hope we both get in!
