Chances!

Applying to Weinberg
-I know my chance of acceptance at NU is extremely low, but I would like to know what other people think (just in case).
-GPA (5.0 scale): 5.1 weighted, my school doesn't provide unweighted or rank/percentile.
-all honors classes (except math).
-4 AP classes by graduation (only 8 AP's are offered, three of which are foreign language)
-US History: 4, Biology: 3
-ACT: 28 (horrible, I know, but I'm taking it again in september and october and i've been doing prep like crazy) I got a perfect writing score.
-My grandfather went to NU and is a big donor. He had lunch on Tuesday with President of the school. My mother also attended NU for graduate school, i know that doesn't count for much.
EC's

Senior year schedule:

i'm not applying to Medill because I don't want to go to J-school. I like the arts & sciences school, and don't want to get stuck in a specific area. I would like to be a English or PoliSci major. I like Journalism and clearly it has been my main focus, but I don't want to make my career out of it.

So....
1)Do I have any chance in hell? (I'm talking about if I raise my ACT by at least two points)
2)Should I take the SAT II's?
3)Should I apply regular or early? (NU is my top choice) which one gives me the best chance?

Please respond, I would really appreciate it!

yes you have a chance... just get ur ACT score up
you don't need to take the SAT IIs
apply early if northwestern is ur top choice... gives u statistically the best shot

this wouldn't happen to be kerry, would it?

ummmm you'll probably just get in because of your grandfather to tell you the truth...
