Chances?

UC GPA: 4.27
SAT: 600m, 650cr, 700w
Schedule: All honors except math, Freshman-Junior year. I also took Statistics at the local CC (received an A) and am taking Calculus there. I have already taken two APs, Euro and USH. I have taken a full academic schedule all four years, besides required electives (Computer, PE, Art, Religion, etc.). I also got up to French IV (As all four years...school does not offer AP).
Senior Year Schedule (by FAR the hardest schedule in the entire grade):
AP Art History, AP American Government, AP Human Geography, AP Physics B, AP English Lit, AP Biology (and Calculus 1 at a CC).

I've gotten all As Sophomore and Junior year EXCEPT in Honors Biology, Honors Physics, and Honors Chemistry, which I all received Bs in. Although I am merely average at math/science, I excel in the Humanities/Social Studies.

As far as ECs go, most of them relate to filmmaking. I'm working on a documentary which will serve, more or less, as an advertisement for my high school. I directed our class video last year and am slated to direct it again this year. I worked on a National History Day documentary which made it to the State finals. Additionally, I attended a film camp for three years and was paid to work at another. I have also spent a significant amount of time starting my own production company with my friends. Other then that, I have some work experience. I did a part time job last summer and a full time one this summer. I also plan to work about 20 hrs. per week during the school year.

OOS, unfortunately. What can I do to improve my chances to a point where admission is possible? I know my SATs (math in particular) need to be raised, but is there anything else I can do? And what range should my SATs be in? Thanks.

Excuse me, my UC GPA is 4.33. (and sorry about the double post)

hey, i think your app looks pretty good. just raise up your SAT score a little. Also, you need to take 2 SATII. Keep them as high as possible and you're prolly a good match.

Are you in state? If not you need about 300 sat points

GFPW32:

UCLA: Reach (out of state)

Try to:
get SAT I>2100
SAT II>750 (take 2-3)
more leadership positions
maintain your GPA

Doing all that would improve you to a match.
Doing half of that would get you a slight reach.

Your problem is OOS, too competitive.
