Thanks guys! I really appreciate it.

Your chances are as strong as they can be for an international/asian candidate. Good luck. Well, I think the MathIIC score could be a little higher. You are out of the top 90% I think for that test.

hey venkater, do you know the statistics for the Math II for people who are accepted to wharton?

I said that the top 90% of MathII test takers in the country (not Wharton applicants) are about 770-800. The numbers I gave may not be exact, but I know 750 is outside the top 90% of the IIC test takers. To get into Wharton, I would assume you need to be better than 90% of people in the USA. A lot of people who take the MathII get 800, in my expereince. Wharton stresses math in their admissions, so I would assume you need to show you are a very strong math student. The easiest way is to have 800 on the math section of the SAT, 800 on the mathIIC, and 5 on the BC exam (or currently in BC). You can get into Wharton with a IIC score bellow 800, but there is no reason to put yourself at a slight disadvantage with a score lower than many other applicnats'. SAT scores and GPA are just factors in admissions and are not hte end all and be all, especially since the OP's are close. However, the rest of the app is subjective (strength of ECs, essays, etc) that you want the quantitative stuff to be perfect so there are no questions.

thanks guys. as an international applicant, does not applying for financial aid help? yea my i was dissapointed when i got my IIC marks too but would taking first year calculus and 800 on SAT I math help? idont think i can re-take math iic cause i early decisioned it. I really appreciate your feedback!

yes, American Universities tend to favor international applicants who are on the wealthier side, because their "budget" for aid are different that that of US students

90% of people who take the Math II get above a 770?!?! ***?

i got a 75 percentile for my 750....

I thought whether you request fin aid forms or not has no bearing on your liklihood of acceptance since Penn is need-blind... ?

NO only 10% of all ppl who take Math Level 2 get an 800... in other words... an 800 puts you in the 90th percentile...

wow lol.....
