Chances

Just got rejected from my ED school so looking for some other schools...wondering if Lehigh would be a good match for me

Male from northern NJ

GPA Unweighted/Weighted 3.65/3.83

SAT's
CR-700
M-690 ( i know thats low for Lehigh but i plan on majoring in history and put that down as my major)
W-650

pretty intense courseload: 5 honors 3 AP 's

Activities:
Soccer (9-12)
Boy Scouts (9-12) (Earned Eagle Scout award when i was a sophmore)
Tutoring Elementary School Students (10-12)
Tutoring Middle School Students (11-12)
National Honor Society (11-12)

Put I haven't had a campus tour or group session on my application (which i heard Lehigh is BIG on interest so i plan on doing this soon) but have visited one of the professors in the college of arts and sciences many times who is a family friend

applied RD...would appreciate some thoughtful responses...thanks in advance

Get an official visit on record! Schedule an interview ASAP.

You have a pretty good chance if you show interest. A letter from the family friend will also help.

Keep in mind that Lehigh is getting more and more competitive, so nothing is ever a sure bet.

if i visit after sending in my application will admissions know that i have offically visited when they look at my app?

They should. You have to fill out forms when you arrive in the admissions office. Just make sure that you note that you've already applied.

You definitely have a great chance. Your scores are very good. Do you have a rank in your class?

my school doesn't rank but according to the school profile im in the second decile......i was told that if the school did rank i would be top 15% so and thanks for the info momwaitingfornew
