simple, good to go

Just like that? I'm in?

Every ivy is a reach, you would be suprise how many bright and talented students they will reject.

Heres the 2011 SCEA decisions <a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=275050%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=275050</a></p>

Go through them and see what i mean. Make sure you shine in your application and show your passion.

Other than that, dont expect an real yes or no answer. You have a shot like everyone else.

Good luck though!

Any suggestions on how to make it more likely to get a fat envelope? I'm thinking maybe applying EA...

i just told this to another poster...no one can tell you how to get in, or whether or not you'll get in. you have very good chances, that's all i can say. i had one friend rejected from brown and yale but accepted to harvard, another rejected from yale and columbia but accepted to stanford. it's pretty much a crapshoot these days.
but yes, apply EA if yale is your first choice!
