hey,

here are my stats below

97 UW GPA (on a 100 scale no weighting at school)
no class ranking but in the top 5% (highest one that school writes on apps)
1520 old sat
710 Bio sat 2
770+ math 2c (didnt get scores back but i know it will be this)
chem didnt do yet
no ap classes at school except ap calc which i will take next year

community college credits for anatomy and physiology 1 and 2, chemistry, biology, and public speaking

decent (but not spectacular) ecs with about 3 or 4 leadership positions
volunteering at hospital and will either do a research internship or shadow a doctor this summer
violinist in orchestra
varsity tennis (captain in senior year)

i live in nj and basically i want to know what are some good safety and match programs (6 7 or 8 years) for someone with my stats. i know interviews and essays count alot so i will make sure i am 100% prepared for these.

northwestern, brown

i'd say you have a pretty good chance at any of them

thx, bump..

you have a good chance at all of them; however, it's really hard to say which ones are safety or matches. getting into these programs can sometimes be based on the luck of the draw. i'm sure a good percentage of those who get rejected from these programs have stats similar to yours.
so definitely apply to several of them: the top ones like nw, brown, bu, cw, and other not as highly competitive, but it is really difficult to say which ones would be safeties, if any.
also, if you are asian, a common stereotype for asians is that they play the violin/piano, play tennis, and want to go into medicine. i recommend finding something that makes you stand out, because almost all of the applicants will have stats very similar to yours.
