<p>I really like Oberlin and I need to know if I should even apply with these stats...</p>

I'm retaking both of those</p>

<p>I go to one of those insane Catholic girls schools and next year I'm taking AP Stats, AP Comparative Gov, AP US Gov, AP Art History, AP English Lit, Theology IV and Creative Writing</p>

<p>I'll graduate with 8 Ap's and 4 Honors since Freshman year</p>

<p>I know my essay and recs will be great, but I feel like my gpa could be kind of low--I go to a really intense school. Do I have a chance?</p>

<p>i think you have a chance...really highlight the drama....do at least one stron essay about your theater experience....I love acting and put together a little portfolio (like a view book) with a resume on page one, then photos of the plays i was in p, part of a screenplay I wrote, a DVD of act one of a play i was in, etc. Obelin didnt ask for it but i figured what the h... ... studio art students submit slides, musicians submit tapes, but it's hard to have an image of an acting performance by just lines on the application....i sent a similar view book to all my colleges with my applications, and I was also not intending to major in drama. so go for it ...the worst they can do is throw it out, it wouldn't be a reason for turning you down and it might make a difference. i say anything you can do to make them visualize (and remember) you would be helpful.</p>
