Hi, my school works on a block schedule, where we go through a whole years of work in half a year. My new term began two days ago, and I am, for certain reasons, unable to take AP Government. I have already submitted college apps to many UCs and CSUs and I was wondering if I recieve a schedule change and get into a normal Government class will it greatly affect my acceptance chances? Also what would be the current process for reporting the changes? Thanks so much for the help, I need to give my counselor a response by tomorrow.

Bump? Help plz?

Your counselor should (will?) report it in your mid-year report. I am applying to a number of selective colleges, and I called them and they told me that they would like it if I also emailed each individual school with the change. You can also explain that it is a scheduling thing with your school. If your counselor confirms for you that this course change was out of your control, I doubt you will be penalized.
