Hello all, Would anyone be able to comment on how to address this? My daughter is a non-traditional (gap year for working) student applying using the online application for a college and to start the application she was required to state which semester she is applying for. Due to financial considerations and work opportunities, she has changed her mind since starting the application and wants to enroll for the fall instead of the spring. It would be hard to submit all the required materials for the spring deadline and she also would like to be more prepared and to apply for the early action deadline for the fall semester start. Should she let this application’s deadlines for this spring slide and continue using this same form (has completed essay and all other info; transcript has been sent)? Is it necessary to explain or do these online applications adjust enrollment date qualifications for whenever the materials arrive?
All the online applications I’ve seen ask you to select what term you are enrolling for. If you haven’t submitted the application yet, just change the date to fall of 2018.
