Hey! I was recently admitted to Gtech as a Biochemistry major but after taking a few courses this summer, i feel i’ll do better in Biomedical engineering. I’ve read in lots of discussions that you could change your major on buzzport even before the FASET orientation. Can someone please tell me where this is on buzzport?
Incoming freshmen used to be able to change their major before FASET, but this is no longer the case. You will have to wait until after the withdrawal deadline during fall semester, which is October 28th this year. http://admission.gatech.edu/change-major
Which the exception of the BME GT1000 course, you should be able to register for the same first semester classes you would take as a BME major, so I wouldn’t worry too much about having to wait a few months to change majors.
