Changing Schools and Majors

How easy is it to transfer between colleges and majors at Northwestern? Like from the school of journalism to the liberal arts, or vice versa?

i'm not an NU student, just prospective, but this question was answered before and i think the person said that going from medill to wcas is easier than vice versa b/c medill is specialized and can only accommodate a certain number of students, making it hard to transfer into it once you're already in Northwestern. taking classes at other NU schools rather than entirely changing your curriculum would be fairly easier i think

yep (10 char)

chaning majors within your school is generally no problem (ie. i went from comm studies to rtvf within the first month of school). however, there is a waiting list to get into the classes that would even qualify you to transfer into medill. medill to wcas though should be no problem, though i know there are a few programs (like american studies) where you actually have to apply.
