Chapman University Class of 2017

Has anyone heard from Chapman University EA decision yet?

Depending on your major you will probably not hear anything until end of December or January for EA. Film Production majors will not receive decisions until February.

My D’s status changed today to “decision reached”. She applied to honors and television production (narrative concentration). The wait on snail mail will be crazy!!!

@ infinity do you know when the honors program application for chapman is due?

My daughters status just changed this morning to decision reached. Applied to scriptwriting program…dodge. The wait will be horrible.

Accepted today! Chapman Dodge film~

did your online status change @mimihker ?

no, it just said decision made

SciMan

D submitted her ap for honor’s college in April last year and got accepted. They wait to hear from most of the Presidential scholars (one’s with the highest grades and SAT’s), then fill in the remaining spots based on the application. They are looking for around 60-70 honors students a year. Advice we heard was make the essay count. Also, if you get rejected, you can come back and reapply another year. Even if you don’t have high grades, if you get a professor to enthusiastically recommend you, you may get in. Good luck!
