Chapman University or UC Riverside for Biology major?

I'm going into Pre-med and I was wondering which school has a better biology/pre med program and which school I would have more opportunities at.

Riverside has a new medical school. I am not sure about Chapman, but being in Orange County, I am sure there are plenty of hospitals to get experience in. I remember when I toured UCR, the tour guide mentioned that they have opportunities for their students to continue to med school for free if they promised to practice in Riverside after graduation. I don’t have anymore details on the offer though.

What about costs for attending Chapman v. UCR? Seems like you might want to go where you can pay the least out of pocket during your undergrad years so that you can afford medical school in the future? If costs are not an issue, then, choose the place that you feel is the best fit.

Sorry I don’t have more experience to share.
