Cheap Grad School?

hello I am new on this form
I just got my BA in Economics in may this year
I want to go to grad school but I have some issues
I am international student so i am looking for cheap grad school for economics
also I do not have good cum. GPA (2.088)
what kinda scores do I need to pull from GRE order to get into ok grad school?
thank you

In economics you need a really good GRE in the math section (over 700). I am also an international student, and they don't pay so much attention to the verbal section, they use the TOEFL to measure your english level. Most good schools provide their students with a full tuition scolarship and a stipend. The exception are some of the public schools.
Another way to do it is to apply for a Fulbright scolarship in your country (they pay for everything). You can check the requirements on the Internet. Other organizations and public offices in each country provide scholarships. The best way to look for them is the Internet. Hope this was helpul, cheers

With your GPA you might need to ace the GRE in order to get into grad school. The cheapest would probably whatever state school you would be able to claim residence in if you could do that(?) If they count you as OOS, count on paying at least $700-$1000 a credit hour. Times that by 35-40 credit hours for masters degree, you are looking at between $25,000-$40,000 total. Are you sure you want to do grad school?

Do not worry about the money. If you are accepted at a good school, youa re probably going to have a nice fellowship. Grad school does not work as undergraduate, most people in PhD's (not MBA or Law) have a full ride, and specially in private schools not public specially for internatioanls. WHat you need is to have great recommedation letters and exams, and that will distract them from the GRE. Specially since you are an internatioal student focus heavily on the math section. Look for schools in which are not in the top tier, they might offer you a nice package because they don't get so many applicants.
Hope this helps
