Anyone having any luck checking your app status? I can't even get back to the page that says "it's too early to check" - I don't get a login page at all. Same for everyone else?

did you apply ED or RD?

I can access my one fine (i applied ED by the way)

all it says when i go to check the status is "Your materials have been received. Your application has been forwarded to the admissions staff for review. "

so i’m assuming that i don’t need to worry about my application anymore.

it could possibly be that they only activated the system for ED applicants.

The same thing is happening to me and I applied ED. Do you think that we should contact admissions and see if there is something that is seriously wrong.

No, the system should be up and running. I checked last night (I applied ED also) and before that it wouldn’t let me log in. They temporarily shut the system down due to an influx of application materials.

NO

if it says your materials have been received & application has been forwarded, there’s nothing to be concerned about. If you’re missing anything, they sent you an email saying that. No email=good

Checked my application status – LOTS of problems. First of all, it says school report and transcript not received – I know for a fact these were mailed at the end of October. (My school does not do these online). There is no category for teacher recs, so I don’t know if those were received. One of my teachers did hers online on the common app and the other one mailed hers. And under the test scores, there are just check marks next to several categories of SAT II’s – no way of knowing whether the ones I retook in October arrived. Same thing with ACT – just a check mark, no way of knowing which scores are there. Attempts to call and email the admissions office have led only to frustration. My school and teachers are going to resend everything, but this makes me very nervous. Why, when we pay $70 to have our apps reviewed, can’t the admissions office keep track of our submissions? Two years ago, my brother applied to 10 schools and EVERY SINGLE ONE lost something of his.

louisaj, sorry about all those problems. Honestly, my school does not do ANYTHING online. I had my guidance cousenlor send everything by mail together in one package, so it simplified it a bit, I guess. It seems that most people have all of their materials in, but just resend and they will process them asap.

Is anyone still having trouble accessing their account, because I still am.

Nope, mine is working fine.

mine came online on 11/17 shortly after I wrote in that day
