Chem 3AL Exam

How difficult is Professor Pedersen's lab exam? Is is multiple choice/short answer/both? I'm not sure what or how to study for this test and it worries me that's its only 30 points.

Yea I don’t know how to study either…

What do you mean it worries you that it’s ONLY 30 points? It’s 1/4 of our lab grade…

it was super easy last semester-barely even studied and i ended up leaving early

but apparently this year is the first year w/o quizzes, so the final is like 1/3 NMR and the rest is from other labs…

i heard before it was all nmr.

I guess I’m just worried about how to prepare/approach this exam. A few points off here and there and it could really hurt your grade.

last semester’s exam was basically like your lab reports. study those questions, know the basic goals of each lab (like different forces, polarity, etc), know how to do nmr, and you should be okay. no worries.

I posted a thread to see if anyone has old exams…hopefully someone will respond.
besides nmr…which i dont get really, idk what else to study a lot :(

it’s super easy. i didn’t have quizzes fall semester either. just know pretty much the techniques and stuff …

does anyone know when we find out the results of the exam/class?

email your gsi. otherwise just go for the surprise grade! :D
