What % estimate would I have to get to receive a 3 or 4?
Last year, out of every student taking the exam, 27.5% got a 3, 15.6% got a 4, and 10.5% got a 5. If I understand your question correctly, 53.6% of test takers for chemistry got a 3 or higher. FYI. I got these data from the college board and the score distributions for every AP exam can be found online.
For you specifically, it is impossible for anybody to determine the % that you specifically will score a 3 since we do not know you. The exam is in 6 days so you should probably have an idea by now of what you need to practice for the exam and have attempted some of the FRQs from past years. You can use online calculators to estimate the “curve” for a 1-5 based on your raw score, but the exact criterion changes from year to year to maintain consistency with the integrity of scores.
During a causal conversation, the teacher in DD’s prep class said they should aim at around 70% for 4 or 5.
Thanks sorry for the late reply I’m hoping I did good
