Hi! I was accepted to Johns Hopkins RD but not to the BME program. I am extremely interested in doing medical research and eventually branching out into industry, such as a Biotechnology startup or a pharmaceutical company. I am thinking about choosing Chemical/Biomolecular Engineering as my major since I can’t do BME, but on US News Hopkins is not ranked very high for Chemical Engineering. Will employers look at this and not value my degree above one from a higher ranked school? Or will the research that I do related to my field be more important?
