Chemical Engineering + ??? Double Major?

I am currently a Chemical Engineering major, and I have a simple question. Would it be worth it to do a double major? Specifically, a Chemistry double major, especially if I eventually want to go onto grad school? Or, would I be more versatile without grad school with a ChemE + Chemistry double major?

There’s not a whole lot of point in double majoring with engineering, especially if it’s a double major in chemistry and chemical engineering. You can do anything doable with a chemistry degree with a chemical engineering degree.

I’m pretty sure your schedule is pretty packed already, so the double major isn’t worth the extra semester or two.

If you can do the double major and finish in four years, you might as well take some more specialized classes in ChE.
