chemical engineering for math

<p>That's fine. But an engineering professor will actually accomplish many things in his or her career, whereas a mathematician will spend his entire life on a proof he probably won't end up solving.</p>

<p>Without mathematicians proving ****, their wouldn't be engineers. Most of the math you use like FFT was developed by mathematicians.</p>
