Is it hard to get into UF for Chemical Engineering? Also, how is the workload? Is it very difficult??

I recently got accepted to UF for Mathematics as a cc transfer, but I have a friend who attended the same high school as I did and he is a ChemE major. To me the workload sounds quite difficult. You are required to take classes such as Organic Chemistry and Physical Chemistry. you can browse through the website and read descriptions of the required ChemE courses and you can even see the textbooks used in each course if you want.

Are you strong with chemistry? have you taken AP chemistry?

Yes, I would consider myself strong at Chemistry. I’m disappointed with my 3 on the AP exam, but as you might’ve seen in another post I made, I’m requesting a rescore because I’m sure I got a 5.

D’s a ChemE. This is the curriculum guide she follows: http://www.che.ufl.edu/PDF/CurrentUnderGradStudents/BSChECrsePlanFall07.pdf

She, and a lot of her peers, came in with a lot of credit, i.e. AP/IB/dual enrollment. It’s an intensive curriculum, not one you can slide through.
