Hey all!

I’m a chemical engineering major at a top ten school who used to be pre-med. but recently i realized that i would rather go to graduate school. The lab that I do research in is a solid science biochemistry lab. I’m wondering:

what’s the advantage of applying to a chemical engineering grad program over a chemistry graduate program? If i apply into engineering will it matter that my research is NOT in chemical engineering?

what are the requirements to go into chemistry that a chemical engineering undergrad program may not cover?

My gpa right now is around a 3.65 and hopefully will be a little higher by the time I apply - what kind of schools could I shoot for?

THANK YOU for all of your help!! :)
