Just finished Organic Chem II and now thinking of switching. But before I do so, can someone tell me how the chem majors are doing after Org. Chem? Do you find things get ma bit easier or interesting?

thanks

If you got through Organic Chemistry II successfully, I’m sure the rest of your required chemistry courses shouldn’t be bad at all.

^ Obviously not a chem major.

I absolutely loved O Chem, but P Chem was a little more difficult and mathematically-oriented. IChem was fun, and analysis was just about the most boring and arcane stuff I ever had to suffer through. It all goes downhill from OChem IMO.

I was a chem major many years ago…PChem was the hardest course I took as an undergrad.

Hey you took my name, :(

Yeah, I recall my husband saying years ago that physical chem was his undoing.
