I was going through some question I missed on the first practice test on the T F CE statements
It was
‘Electrons flow from the Anode to the cathode’
And the statement is true according to the book. I thought it was false. Could someone please explain how this is true ??
Oxidation, loss of electrons, occurs at the anode and reduction, gain in electrons, occurs at the cathode. So electrons flow from anode to cathode.
OIL RIG - Oxidation Is Loss, Reduction Is Gain.
Perhaps you are confusing the electron flow with the direction of the electrical current – cathode to anode.
ohhhhhhhh
Thank you
